- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I paid for a cashier's check for my friend who was having a financial crisis so he could access money right away, but when he went to cash the check, the teller and branch manager told him he needed to have an account there and initially refused to cash this check even though they had already withdrawn the funds from my account. Luckily my friend was able to insist that this check needs to be honored and over an hour later they finally cashed the check.By Peter Lear, September 22, 2017
