  I am the Assistant to the Owner of the Company that has a tax liability. I personally haven't had very much interaction with the Attorney handling my case this is not because he is unreachable but because I work closely with his Assistant., My Boss and owner of the Company has boasted about his hands on approach and how comfortable he's made them feel when handing sensitive and important issues. I have been fortunate enough to work with My Attorney's Assistant (our guardian angel) and it has been a very wonderful learning experience. Our company has been blessed to have them both. They take a very personal approach when handling situations, and genuinely care about how everyone within the company is affected by the work they are doing; from the CEO/Owner to the janitorial staff.   I have been working with Fortress Financial Services Attorney and Assistant for the better part of 6+ years now on both IRS and State issues. When I first hired Fortress it is was to obtain an Installment Agreement with the IRS. I then needed help with an Installment Agreement with the State. The business struggled to keep up with the Tax Deposits and we decided we needed to close the business completely. The IRS attempted to make my husband’s son responsible for some of the Trust Taxes along with me and my husband, My Attorney was able to stop the assessment against my Husbands son and take him completely out of the picture in regards to owing any Trust Taxes for a business that my Husband and I owned. My Attorney then helped us close the Corporation and began the process of working on a personal Offer in Compromise with the IRS and State. My Attorney was able to obtain a very agreeable settlement with the State of New York and the IRS for me a very agreeable settlement with the State of New York for my husband. Fortress Financial, my Attorney and his Assistant had nothing but understanding and compassion and were diligent on my and my husband’s cases. I made a rush and impulsive decision in hiring Fortress Financial services 6+ years ago but based on my current situation and all the hard work they have and will continue doing on our case, it was the best decision I ever made.
